I wanted to create a fun, but meaningful and engaging, activity to do during my apple theme. We were studying prepositions at that time, so I created this activity to go along with the theme. The students were able to complete several objectives at one time, including using prepositions correctly, following directions, creative art, and sentence structure. Here's how it works: The students are given a sentence containing one or more prepositional phrases. They must choose apples and apple trees (among other supplies) to place on construction paper to correctly depict their sentence.
