I Can Make 10 ….Again and Again! *(differentiated) either use; and/is ...or symbols. Students will use 2 different colored crayons to show ways to compose 10. Students will write in the numbers.

Owl About 10. *(differentiated) either use pips...or numerals. Students will cut and glue the bottom numbers to complete the missing amount to compose 10.

“Weeee!” Make 10. *(differentiated) either use pips...or numerals. Students will either write the number or draw the pips to compose10.

Roll, Add, Cover. *(differentiated) either use numeral die/tradition die with pips. Students will roll a die. Students will add the number rolled to a number in a circle to compose 10. Students will cover it with a cotton ball. If a number rolled can not be added to make 10, that turn is over. Continue to play until all are covered. (partner game/or play alone.)

Who? Who Can Make 10? Students will cut apart 1 set of owls and place face down. Students will choose two owls and add the numbers together to find the sum. If the owls make 10 put them on the snowy tree. If they do not turn them over face down and the next player takes a turn. Continue until all owls are on the tree.
