This product can be used as an incentive for good behavior. If you are lucky enough to have a poster maker, this would be ideal as a poster. I would laminate. This comes with colored owls that you can print on cardstock and laminate or enlarge. I would add a piece of Velcro™ to the back and on the chart as well. You decide the parameters for what makes a good day and one worth putting an owl on the chart. When your class earns 25 owls, they can earn a party or your choice of incentive. I’ve included some ideas to help incentivize your kids! There are two charts; counting backward to 1 or up to 25-Your choice! You can add in math while earning owls.
This product also comes with owls in black and white. These can be awarded to individual kids for reinforcing positive behavior. When a child gets an “owl”, they write their name on the back and it can go into a jar. At the end of the day or week, you can draw a name and that child wins a small prize. I often ask parents for leftover goodie bag items from birthday parties or I go to Oriental Trading Co or the Dollar Store and purchase small trinkets. This will get your kids in line in no time. You must do it deliberately and consistently in order for it to work.
