Welcome to Art Bursts! A simple way to incorporate art into the classroom. Students will observe, discuss, and create! These lessons can be taught by a classroom teacher, substitute teacher, parent or volunteer. Basic art supplies and easy instructions make these successful in any classroom! Be prepared for engaging discussion and enthusiastic art!
This lesson includes:
-An overview of the story
-Thought provoking discussion questions
-Guidelines for a simple art project
-A bulletin board heading for displaying artwork

The lesson is simply presented yet engages students' critical thinking skills and encourages original ideas through discussion and art/illustrations. The activity can be completed in 40 minutes or less. This lesson can also be extended for use as a creative writing prompt.
