In my school we have a stick system, each color corresponds to a school rule. When a child breaks one they move a warning stick to their pouch, envelope, cup, whatever they are using. At the end of the day each child color in their behavior chart. This way I can identify certain behaviors students are struggling with. For example, if Billy has moved 11 yellow talking sticks in the past month, I might need to reteach Billy my expectations for when talking is appropriate in the classroom.
