This book review is intended for use in a small group. The book, “Owls, Bats, Wolves” by Kris Hirschmann is discussed in segments. Each segment is given fact finding questions, inferences, and vocabulary words. The student is encouraged to read for details in the fact finding portion. Inferences seek to engage the student in reasoning through comprehension. Vocabulary words are to be found in the text and then defined. Definitions that are provided may be found in the book’s glossary.
