Blend space science with programming in this fun project based activity. Students will be asked to first characterize their Ozobot by measuring simple movements. Then, using that information, they will plan a trip around the Martian surface using OzoBlocky programming.
Students will try to go to an area of interest to take a photo, spin dust off their solar panels, and then retrieve a sample of rocks! This is a great activity for both programming and opening the dialog of what real life scientists do every day!
Ozobot (Students can share)
Martian surface printouts (11x17)
Dice and 3D printed file (if retrieving an actual sample).
