Each of these cards include /p/and b/ words color coded by parts of speech. I use these cards in a ‘fill in the part of speech’ type pattern. The sentences need to be grammatically correct, but do not necessarily have to make sense. My kids love to make them as crazy as possible.
I place the parts of speech cards out in the grammatical pattern I want the tongue twister to imitate. The structures I use include: noun-verb, noun-verb-noun, noun-verb-adjective-noun, noun-verb-preposition-noun, and noun-verb-preposition-adjective-noun…etc.
The students are actually working on noun-verb agreement and grammatical structure while practicing their articulation sounds. WIN-WIN!! Sometimes it even sparks conversation regarding vocabulary. You could also add your own words into the game.
