GERMAN WORD GAMES for DIE PARTY
Play Bingo, complete a Wordsearch, and have fun with the individual PARTY Wordcards using 29 PARTY words in German.
Laminate all the Bingo cards so that you can use them again. Laminate the word cards and use them as an introduction to the German words for DIE PARTY
Place them around the room and get the students to give you their meaning in English.
Enlarge them to create posters for their own Party.
Get students to bring as many of the items as mentioned on their cards using a time limit as part of their own class Party.
Use the words to describe what the students have brought to the Party and what they like and share the findings with the class.
Students can also create their own Bingo cards.
USING THE BINGO GAME - these tips might also be useful.
You can print the games in black and white and the students can cross off the words as they hear them.
You can also print them in colour, laminate them, so that you can re-use them.
Then if you buy coloured counters or use buttons or anything like wooden blocks so that when you call the words the students can cover the words.
The rules for winning can be the following: 4 or 5 in a row, either vertically or horizontally, and for a SUPER BINGO game, play in pairs and call for 5 vertically ( or choose your own rule here)
With the call list, you will need to make several copies for yourself, as you will need to use them several times and just cross off the words that you use, perhaps use different colours.
The students can swap the bingo cards .
