In this lesson, the students will read the book and identify the factors of production in the book. This lesson was created for elementary students but high schoolers love children's literature, too! The economic concepts presented in the book are: goods, services, factors of production, natural resources, human resources, capital and entrepreneurship. This is a simple activity that teaches students not only where the food in grocery stores come from but how peanut butter, jelly, and bread are made, all while applying economic concepts. If you have any questions, please let me know.
