Students will design and make one art piece that visually represents three of their goals. The challenge is for students to use an image located at the center of their prototype template as the starting point or foundation for their art piece. They must design their art piece around the symbol provided on their template.
This is the first product in my new product line called "PBL Maker Challenge." The idea is to merge the effective learning principles of project-based learning with design thinking. Each project requires exploration, inquiry, brainstorming, trial and error, problem-solving, the assistance of community experts, authentic presentations and innovative outcomes. Students are actively engaged throughout the project process because it is student-centered in nature.
This product is intended to be budget friendly. That is part of the challenge for students. They work with what they have available to them. Each project in this product line gives tips on how to work with what you have or get what you need on a budget.
