The preview includes a glimpse of several of the pages in the pack.

Here are the tasks students will take part in as new dinosaur park wardens:
•The Dinosaurs: Students use addition/subtraction within 1,000 to purchase dinosaurs for their park (Differentiated sheet available: addition/subtraction within 100).
•The Park Grounds: Students measure the different dinosaurs with an inch ruler, and use the measurements to set up and plan the layout of their park.
•Park Warden's Schedule: Students create a schedule for feeding and caring for the dinosaurs. Students will practice elapsed time. (Differentiated sheets available - time to the 15 minutes, or time to the 5 minutes)
•Park Reports: Students need to gather information about their park for a report. They use arrays, multiplication, addition, and subtraction to answer challenging questions. (Differentiated sheets available - one with just repeated addition and multiplication sentences, the other includes word problems)
•The Ticket Booth: Students help kids in the park count their money and make decisions about what tickets they can and can't afford. Students practice counting, adding, and subtracting money.
•How's Business?: Students examine data about the tickets that were sold and create a bar graph using the data. Students answer questions and make business decisions based on the data and bar graph.
