This is a great way to teach about the European leaders during World War II. Students are tasked with filming an episode of the popular television show "History Detectives". In doing so, students will critically examine the culture of other nations while building up knowledge about how such extreme leaders can come to power.
The project-based learning activity is broken down into three parts, with student check-ins situated at the end of each so that you can better monitor their progress and offer helpful suggestions. It is centered upon inquiry - students will develop their own questions on their assigned leader and then answer these questions in a creative way!
The following 21st century skills will be utilized by students in order to successfully complete the project: critical thinking, collaboration, literacy, and digital literacy.
