PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

This PBS video is about the biggest dinosaur carnivore that has been found, Spinosaurus. The video covers the fascinating history of how the fossils of the dinosaur were found and then destroyed in a World War II bombing raid on Munich. Then it goes over how a new more complete skeleton was finally found recently. With modern technology paleontologists were able to figure out what makes Spinosaurus so unique among dinosaurs. This is a great science detective story about the field of paleontology. The video can be viewed for free on PBS NOVA's website: link

The worksheet's questions come in the order they appear in the video and can be filled out by the students while watching the video.
