Guess the Equation Game for Cuisenaire® Rods provides number sense as well as move students towards mental calculations by eliminating the sense of touch. Working with just their sight and hearing, the student pays closer attention to what they see and hear. Listening to their opponents, the student also strengthens their auditory skills paving the road towards mental calculations.

This 2 player game of deduction is great for math centers. Students secretly chose an equation that their opponent must ask yes or no questions to help deduce their opponent's secret equation. The student who guesses their opponent's equation first wins.

Activity includes 36 versions of the game. There are 3 stages which are designed to challenge and develop student's number sense.
