This documents prints FOUR per page! Looks great printed on bright colored paper!Mile Club Certificates motivate students to work on endurance walking/jogging/running. Students love recognition in class and also at home. These certificates are immediate gratification for students and also are a great way to notify parents of their child’s accomplishment!
Suggested use for certificates:
1) Begin with the 1/4 Mile run. This should be pretty easy for
most students. The next day you see them, do the 1/2 mile
run. Lastly, give students the opportunity to do the 1 mile run.
2) Give certificates to ALL students who complete the run, no
matter how long it takes them (students may walk, jog or run).
This is my personal preference for using this certificate.
3) Another option is to give the certificates to all students who
finish the run in a “healthy time period”. Example: You could
use healthy score guidelines from the President’s Challenge, or
another source. My school’s healthy standards are
approximately 3 minutes or less for the 1/4 mile, 6 minutes or
less for the half mile and 12 minutes or less for the 1 mile run.
