We are all living in interesting, different times. Everyone. Restrictions are in place on how we deliver P.E.. The main purpose of this unit is to maximise engagement and Fun… while keeping in mind social distancing rules of 1.5 metres (6 feet) that most countries are following.
This bundle aims to incorporate all the pillars of Physical Education into one snap shot. It follows the Fundamental Motor principles of Early Childhood Physical Education as well as incorporating introductory game based units. For Grades 3 – 6 it also follows the Teaching Games for Understanding principles by using Invasion, Target, Striking/Fielding and Net Games. It also incorporates components of fitness, yoga and even a project based learning lesson on how to be fast!
Students will develop skills through fun, game-like activities all in a socially distant way.
In this unit you will find:
- 2 Units of work (10 lessons each) for K - 2 and 3 - 6
- Step-by-step instructions on how to teach each lesson
- Teacher Assessments for both 3 - 6 and K - 2
-Fundamental Movement Principles
-Athletics (Run, Jump and Throw) x2
- Fitness II
*Please note - These lessons are designed with social/personal distancing in mind. Every country, state and district has its own interpretation as to how this must be administered. Some games/activities may need to be modified to suit your school.
