Are you looking to get your kids moving more? Have an alternate space to do some workouts besides the gym? Circuit Training is a fantastic option to boost your kids physical fitness! Use these cards in the classroom or the gym!

This resource has been a life-saver for times when we couldn’t go into the gym, or when the weather didn’t allow for us to go outside to get some exercise, have a brain break, or do our daily physical activity.

A set of individual cards/slides to print off (or project). Pick a few to put up around the room. Do some in-class circuit training. Play around with the times. I usually do 1-min of hard work, 20-30 sec switch to next station. Go around 2-3 times, or as time permits. All slides include a fun illustration/clip art!

What’s included:

•Warm up with your name (x2)

•Brain breaks (x4)

squat combos, 100 jumping jacks,

freeze dance, mirror dance

•Fitness stations (x19)

skater jumps, planks, wall sits, push ups, wall pushes, jumping jacks, squats, squat pulse/jump, mountain climbers, inch-worms, crunches, glute bridge, burpees, reverse push ups, running-on-the-spot, jump rope, floss, lunges, v-sit

•Stretches (x6)

neck, arms, lunges, calf, quads, groin

As kids get better at circuit training, have them create their own moves and circuits to develop leadership skills.
