A bumper resource pack for the story ‘Peace at Last' great to use when teaching Letters and Sounds Phase 1.

The pack includes:


Display banner- a long colourful banner for your display

Display border- a themed display border to print out as many times as you need for a display board of any size

Word cards- words on decorated cards relating to the story

Large coloured pictures- large character pictures to print out and use on a display

Question cards- questions on decorated cards about the story to use as prompts or to add to a display

Sound posters- a set of colourful posters showing the different things that made sounds in the story


Alphabet- a lovely alphabet line on owls

Writing sheets- a set of writing sheets with borders for the children to write on and use in the writing area

Speech bubble worksheets- fill in the speech bubbles to show what the characters are saying

Favourite part if the story- draw and write about your favourite part of the story

Writing worksheet- write some sentences about the different pictures on the worksheets

Match the noise- match the different pictures to labels

‘b’ for bear- a worksheet all about the letter ‘b’

Sequencing worksheet- cut and order the pictures


Number line- a number line to 50 on stars

Counting worksheets- count the number of objects

Make the clock- cut and stick the clock numbers onto the cuckoo clock

Missing numbers- differentiated worksheets to fill in the missing numbers on the stars

Counting cards- count the pictures from 1-10


Picture bingo- cover the different pictures from the story

Make the sound- pick a card and make the sound for the others to guess


Stick puppets- colour and make your own stick puppets

Face masks- colour and decorate the face masks

Colouring- a collection of colouring worksheets

Make some big ears-make you own paper big ears to go on a listening walk with instructions and picture cards for discussion


Sequence pictures- a set of coloured pictures to use when retelling the story

Face masks- a set of coloured face masks to use when retelling the story or making up new stories

Stick puppets- coloured stick puppets to use when retelling the story

Story sack tag- a tag to add to your story telling sack


Sound lotto- click on the stars to listen to the sounds and cover them on your lotto boards

Guess the sounds- an interactive activity to choose the correct sound they can hear on each page

Make the sounds- look at the different pictures and use your instruments to make the sounds

Voice sounds- listen to the sounds on each page and use your voice to make the different sounds
