These Order of Operations Task Cards are a set of 28 problems in a task card format based on what your students have learned about the order of operations (PEMDAS or BODMAS, as it's also known). They are varied in nature, ranging from asking students to evaluate the expression, to place the parentheses properly, replacing symbols with the correct operation signs to result in the answer, to decide which solution is the correct one, etc. These task cards can be used:
★ at an independent center, using the answer keys for a self-check
★ at a teacher-led center, for focused review or instruction
★ as a Scoot Game
★ as a whole-group, jigsaw-style game
★ as an assessment
Printable answer sheets and a detailed answer key
are provided to save you time.
