Product Description
Heading back to into your preschool schedule and routine after winter break is made easy with our PENGUINS Fine Motor Busy Bins!  The busy bin activities all include fine motor practice which is key to developing little hands that are ready for holding pencils, cutting with scissors, and tying shoes.

There are 12 fine motor busy bins included in this set.  Each busy bin includes a direction page and a label for your bin.

They are set up as completely independent morning work tub activities for pre-k.  The busy bins are also perfect to use with younger preschoolers during circle and small group time.

----> The penguins fine motor busy bins are the 8th set in our ENDLESS Themed Fine Motor Busy Bins Bundle.  The bundle is the way to go!

Print and prep the fine motor busy bins, and store them in small storage containers with lids (mine are from Walmart - some teachers use ziplock or colorful buckets). Switch out the 12 activities each time you switch themes.  How awesome is is that?!

What is a busy bin exactly?

A busy bin is similar to a busy bag activity.  You put the activity together and store it in a bin to be used over and over again. Busy bins are reusable learning activities – prep once and play forever!

Each fine motor busy bin activity comes with an instruction page and a label for your bin.

PENGUINS FINE MOTOR BUSY BINS

Penguin Pom Pom Sort – Use kid-friendly squeezers to sort pom poms by color on to the correct colored penguin.
Cover the Letters - Use buttons, beads, or even goldfish crackers to build the uppercase letters on the penguin cards.
Fish Play Dough Numbers 1-10 - Create the numerals and form the letters in the number with play dough.  Count and cover the fish with play dough balls for added fine motor and counting practice!
Counting Penguins 1-12 - Add the correct amount of penguin mini erasers (or pom poms) to the icebergs.
Follow the Penguin Path - Add small beads or buttons on the dotted path to trace the path from penguin to the iceberg.
Penguin Roll & Cover (1-6 and 7-12) - Use traditional dice or dice with numerals 1-6 and 7-12 on them to roll a number and cover the correct penguin with a snap cube.
Color Linking Penguins - Put the penguin puzzles back together by matching the colors on the penguins.  Use pipe cleaners or plastic chain links to attach the penguin puzzles together.
Shape Clip Cards - Find the shape that matches the shape on the penguin's belly and use a clothespin to mark it.
Penguin Pre-Writing Tracing Cards - Practice pencil lift and control while tracing shapes and lines on each penguin card.
Icy Writing - Use the letter cards and create a simple writing tray with salt (pretend snow!) to form each letter correctly.
Make 10 Fish - Draw the correct number of fish on the card to make 10 fish for the hungry penguin to eat.
Pom Pom Penguins - Use kid-friendly squeezers to move pom poms to cover the spots on the penguin with the matching color to complete the picture.
