Display the “Standards of Mathematical Practices” in your classroom with this easy to assemble project. They will be a daily reminder to your students of your expectations in math. Some standards have been re-phrased or broken down to better express the habits of successful math students.
The pennants can be printed, cut (with only two quick cuts to create a banner shape), and laminated. You can punch two holes at the top and use string or ribbon to drape them along a wall.
I printed mine on card stock and then added color by using markers. For vivid color, I used coloring markers; for muted or pastel, I recommend highlighters.
