Pest Free is a resource aimed for students to research, discuss and develop ideas about the dangers native wildlife are under.
This resource is based around New Zealand pests that endanger our native wildlife, but can be used by any nationality. It can be adaptable for any age group. But best for ages between 8-13.
It covers literacy activities: reading writing and presenting. Research activities, art, drama, field trip ideas, science and a technology challenge.
It comes with lesson sequences, technology challenge criteria and a quick self assessment for students to fill in.
The technology challenge can be used any anyone in any country as they will face similar pests as NZ does, but the content includes you tube clips and web pages from NZ. You will find most countries are in the same boat.
