This is a jam-packed lesson about Peter’s amazing escape from jail, led by an angel.
Activities are suggested to “set the scene” and a paraphrased Bible reading from Acts 12 is included.
The children role play the story and many creative responses are suggested.
The figures of Peter and the angel are provided for dramatic play and they sing a song about trusting God and a chant for the angel to say to Peter!
The children make paper chains to break apart and colour a picture of this very dramatic story.
The children pray for prisoners around the world and a parent follow-up page is provided.
This lesson could easily be broken into sections and run over a week in Christian schools or over 2 weeks for Sunday school.
Thank you for down-loading my lesson. I hope you and the children you teach enjoy all the activities.
