Pickle by Kim Baker follows the exploits of Ben, Frank, Oliver, Bean, and Sienna as they cavort through their middle school under the cover of the "League of Pickle Makers." That would quash any suspicions from the principal, counselor, or teachers that secret funny business was going on right in the science lab after school. As the club's gifted leader, Ben, undertakes to recruit secret agents, and Frank figures out a plan that would enable them to get funding from the P.T.A. Everyone has their own talent, and all are sworn to cause mayhem without not get caught.
What do you think will happen? What kinds of pranks do they conjure up? Do they cause any damage? Will anyone get mad? Will they caught?
The multiethnic secret agents in Pickle will lead you through the halls of school, making you laugh and want to jump in with them as they use their creativity to design new and different ways to make people jump, roll, and even bubble. In the end, they will learn the most about friendship, but other growth will happen as well. Pickle by Kim Baker will breathe a breath of fresh fun in your classroom!
