I am a great advocate of using interactive notebooks in math class, although I have realized, as with any method, if repeatedly adopted, it is vulnerable to the subtle process of ever encroaching habituation. Hence the unit has a perfect blend of interactive notebook activities, task cards and interesting games. Also included is an end of unit 3-page test to assess taught content.

The interactives are especially great for the academically challenged as they break down complex material into learnable chunks.
