This is a completed lesson plan for reading and writing large numbers through hundred millions. I have created this lesson plan to make life a bit easier and convenient for the classroom teacher.
This product includes the actual two page lesson plan, vocabulary word wall cards, anchor charts, an activity, differentiated worksheets with answer keys, and a couple of extras for the teacher to present the lesson.
Please see the PREVIEW for to view a Table of Contents.
(Pages 35 - 44 of the Table of Contents are all the previously listed student handouts, worksheets, handouts, etc... combined in one section to make organization of printing the items easier.)
This product was created using Power Point.
I have included a Google Drive copy of the two page lesson plan, if you choose to use it. You do not have to use the Google Drive copy. It is simply an option. (The worksheets, activities, etc… are not included in the Google Drive copy. It contains only the two page lesson plan itself.)
Although most of the lesson plan and all worksheets, activities, etc… are complete and not editable, there are a few selected sections of the actual two page lesson plan that are editable.
Editable sections of the lesson plan:
~ Standard Number (I do not include the standard number since states use various
~ Standard Description (I do not include the standard description since states use
~ Week of
~ Intervention Section (This section needs to be completed by the teacher
based on individuals, data collected, and/or specified documented needs.)
~ Other Section (This area is editable to add anything the teacher feels is important.)
*Again, these are the only editable sections of the lesson. I designed the lesson plan to be complete for your convenience.
The font type for the editable sections cannot be changed since it is embedded in
the product. Although the font type is embedded, when typing in the Standard Description, Intervention, and Other text fields, if you type past the bottom perimeter, you can continue typing. The text will continue to decrease with the more lines you type. This means that everything you type will be in view. This is especially helpful when you need to see everything at once, or the lesson needs to be printed.
There are various ways to fill in the editable sections:
~ You can print the lesson plan and write inside the editable sections.
~ You can click on the text field and type the information inside the editable sections.
~ You can type the text inside the editable sections in Google Drive.
