23 BASIC worksheets to get to grips with place value tens and ones. I have children who need to OVER LEARN this concept and these worksheets have really helped and proved successful, even with children with dyscalculia. Great for introducing the concept to little ones as they start to become more confident with number.
23 worksheets plus a blank copy of each for you to add your own numbers. Perfect for differentiation. Can be printed off individually or made into a workbook with the cover also included.
Start with identifying the difference between a one and a ten number by coloring the numbers on the number square.
Start to understand what makes numbers and use expanding.
Check the written number against the digital number (I find that children get this wrong and confused)
Write the number in words (again, they get it wrong)
Match the numbers and the words
Color in the tens and ones (they love doing this)
Move on to some more challenging worksheets. Children who struggle will be pleased with themselves as they begin to really THINK about number.
