Description

PROJECT BASED LEARNING (PBL): PLAN A BAKE SALE Everyone loves cupcakes and sweets from a bakery. Your students learn about economics and entrepreneurship as they open their very own bakery (option: have a bake sale). This student-centered project incorporates collaboration and differentiation by providing student choice. This real-world challenge requires students to use inquiry, critical thinking, and their creative minds during the high-interest cross-curricular [math, ELA] activities. Students integrate digital learning into the project as they investigate and plan their final product.

There are some things students need to do so their shop will be a success. It will require them do do some research and planning.

FEEDBACK

"This unit is AMAZING! Sandy took a personal request of mine and went out of her way to make this version so that I can use it for my class. At my school, we do Project Based Learning and I can personally say that her units ALL hit the principles of PBL. They are interactive, fun, exciting units that integrate core curriculum and get students critically thinking. Thank you, Sandy, for a truly perfect PBL unit! :)" ~Buyer
