Five FUN, heartwarming short plays for grades two and three. There are many juicy roles for the students to choose from! Each play has a simple set, basic costumes, and props. The students love working on their plays and performing them for an audience!

THE FOUR LITTLE MICE AND THE BIG SAD CAT (my favorite - a crowd pleaser!)
The Big Sad Cat is terribly lonely. He tries to befriend the only other occupants of an abandoned house, four hostile little mice. What will it take to win them over?
Grades 2-3 Roles: 5 characters, 2 narrators, 1 minor character
LAUGHTER IS THE BEST MEDICINE
Poor Jonas. He’s sick and is going to miss Goofy Glasses Day at school. His brother and sister know just what to do to cheer him up.

JILL AND THE URN
Young Jill trades her impoverished mother’s TV set for a beautiful urn. The urn turns out to house a sassy, wish-granting genie. (great roles for your "actors")

CLARA AND BRUTUS
Clara the cat wants to look like a dog and Brutus the dog wants to look like a cat. Dr. Smith devises a clever way to make his patients appreciate their own unique beauty.
Grade 3 Roles: 3 characters, 2 narrators
THE GINGERBREAD MA'AM
The naïve Little Gingerbread Ma’am runs off into the big, bad world. Can the Little Old Woman save the vulnerable cookie girl from the jaws of the hungry fox?
Grades 2-3 Roles: 4 characters, 2 narrators, 2 minor characters.
