Product Description
It is critical that students learn to add coins (up to 99¢) in 2nd grade. This activity specifically focuses on counting coins up to 99¢. POP! Counting Coins 2 (2nd Grade) is a fun way for your students to practice the skip counting skills necessary for counting money. This is the same as the activity BANG!; I changed it to POP! as in popcorn.

This activity includes:
12 word problems strips
12 counting coins strips
answer key

Put the all the strips into a container (box, paper bag, etc.) and begin to play by having students draw strips from the container. This works well in small group (and can even be used as a formative assessment) or as a center; it can be played by 2-4 students.

These POP! Counting Coins 2 (2nd Grade) strips look great in color but could also be printed in black &; white on colored card stock.
