A 14-slide PPT
that challenges students to examine a series of 10 videos and their corresponding animations
and identify all of the forces present in each object
on a separate worksheet (included).
I created this PPT to give students the opportunity, once having learned about the different types of forces
, to identify them in various objects. Some objects are static, such as a box on a warehouse floor, while other objects are in motion, such as a space shuttle rocket launch. The PPT is designed so that each video clip and its matching animation plays on a loop and can be paused and started independently
. This allows the educator to stop videos in mid-play so that they can discuss what is happening in each clip.
The PPT comes with a worksheet
that students use to write down the types of forces they feel are present in each object. Each object on the PPT has a minimum number of forces to identify, which gives students a reference point to work from.

NOTE 1: Large Folder Size:
I have compressed all of the video and animation files to .mp4 format to save space. However, this PPT and corresponding worksheet is still a 195 MB zip file:
. Please be patient when downloading!
NOTE 2: Keep Folder Contents Together to Avoid Play Errors:
The folder for this product is meant to stay together. In other words, the PPT must stay in the same folder
as the video and animation files or else it will not play properly and the clips may appear to have "disappeared". When using this product, please keep the folder intact. Thank you!
