A comprehensive 65-slide PowerPoint
that introduces students to the names, images and uses of 50 pieces of laboratory and safety equipment
There are 3 sections:
Part A – Names and Functions
This section includes pictures, names and descriptions of 50 pieces of laboratory and safety equipment that the average middle school and early high school student would encounter in their school career. This section can be easily edited within the PowerPoint presentation (see below).
Part B – Quiz
This section includes a quiz that asks students to name the piece of lab or safety equipment shown in an image. The quiz is designed to be written on an index card, but can be edited within the PowerPoint presentation itself (see below).
Part C – Answer Key
This section includes two versions of the answer key for the quiz in Part B:
Make Easy Changes Within the Presentation Itself!
As all science labs are different, I have designed this presentation to be easily editable within the PowerPoint itself. Pictures and descriptions of lab equipment, as well as quiz questions can be deleted without affecting the other slides.
In addition, I have included slide templates
so that teachers can add their own pieces of lab equipment and/or quiz questions as they see fit.
