This was an extremely helpful lesson. I am the dept. chair and have a teacher out on emergency medical leave. This was simple enough for different (non-content certified) teachers to teach!

The PPT slides did not properly align with the guided notes making this frustrating for me and my students. EDIT: After receiving a response and the updated notes it looks like it will be a much better resource for my classes. I cannot review how my students liked it until I teach it again next year with the updated material but it looks like it will be a great resource. Thanks for updating the materials and responding to my review!

Hi Karlynn, Please accept my apologies! The PPT that was included with the guided notes was NOT the most up-to-date product. Months ago, I did a complete revamp of my Muscular System Advanced PPT product to include improved graphics, content, and design, as well making it closely aligned with the guided student notes. For some reason, I uploaded the older PPT and it took your comment for me to realize it. I have now fixed the error. I realize that this may be too late for your current class, but feel free to download the new file, which I think you will see is much better. If you see fit to write a revised review that evaluates the updated PPT + notes product as I intended them to appear, I would truly appreciate it. If you do, please send me an email at sciencewithmrenns@gmail.com afterwards and I will do my best to recognize and reward your help in making this product better for all future Buyers. Sincerely, Douglas Enns

I always check here first for A&P powerpoints because they are exactly what I need for my students to learn about various parts of the body and this one is different from the rest.

NGSSHS-LS1-2
Develop and use a model to illustrate the hierarchical organization of interacting systems that provide specific functions within multicellular organisms. Emphasis is on functions at the organism system level such as nutrient uptake, water delivery, and organism movement in response to neural stimuli. An example of an interacting system could be an artery depending on the proper function of elastic tissue and smooth muscle to regulate and deliver the proper amount of blood within the circulatory system. Assessment does not include interactions and functions at the molecular or chemical reaction level.
