Pre-K Shared Reading Sight Words And Colors has:
a Shared Read Method page simply describing the method followed by the reading section that, as the thumbnail pictures above show, on each page have
1. a short “I am (color)” sentence,
2. the associated picture,
3. a short associated concluding “I am a…” sentence;
then there is an:
Alphabetical English-Spanish Glossary to help any ESL students of Spanish background you may now or later have;
a Sequential English-Spanish Glossary also helpful for any ESL students of a Spanish background; and finally:
Pre-K Sight Words In Spanish, French, German, Chinese;
Color, Trace or Write The Words Activity (3 pages, each page having 4 x 6 boxes with a word to practice in each, i.e. 24 per page). The children can also be directed to do clay modeling or finger-painting.
So there’s loads of hands-on fun-work too.
Notice that the font letters for the reading section are size 48 and in arial black type which helps the farther away children to also see the letters and words.
