This primary grade bulletin board is “no prep”…even the printing has been done for you! It’s being sold as a “hard good”, so you get it in the mail already prepared for you. I have a similar digital download, but it’s not 3-D. If you want the featured border color (black dots) you don’t have to specify a border. Because this bulletin board has options for borders, you must notify me with
your choice other than black so I can send you the appropriate border. You can view the different colors in the product preview.
Most of my hard products (single product or combination of products) that have 10-40 pages in total have a shipping and handling fee of $2.00. For instance, if you buy one product with 24 pages and another with 16 pages, you will have 2 products with a total of 40 pages. You will be charged $2.00 for both (they will come in the same package), not $2.00 for each. This pricing applies to mailing destinations within the continental United States. I can make other mailing arrangements for those of you who need this to be mailed outside of the continental United States.
I used this bb in my first grade classroom. What kid doesn’t think that losing a tooth isn’t a big deal? They want to be recognized for that! And…it’s an “achievement” that eventually happens to all of them.
This easy to put up bulletin board doesn’t need to be taken down until the year’s end. It MUST stay up all year to give everyone a fair chance to get their tooth into Tooth Count’s castle!
Those who didn’t lose their teeth during the school year can be given a bunch of blank teeth and a paper strip to glue the teeth onto over the summer. Also, the personalized paper strips that have had teeth already glued on over the course of the school year can be given to the matching student as a memento at the end of the school year.
Included are 2 stand alone castles, a vampire, flying bats, 100 teeth, and 9 options for polka dot borders. Remember to check out the different border colors in the preview. The bulletin board signs come in 2 choices: bold black letters (TOOTH COUNT) on a white background or on a yellow background.
The teeth can be cut on their outlines (in the shape of teeth) and glued directly on the castle. OR they can be cut out on the straight lines framing them, forming a box. You can even start a “strip” for each student to glue a tooth onto when needed. These strips can be attached to the castle.
I have included a page of pre-made strips that are a perfect size for the teeth…use these as guides to make many more out of construction paper if you need extra. (you can print out more, but using construction paper saves on printing costs).
There’s no need to draw columns or make a grid on the castle with the student’s name(s) at the top of each column. To save you time, all you have to do is write the student’s name directly on the tooth. Start a row or column for that child with their first displayed tooth or with a strip having their first tooth.
