Example 1: Miranda listed the common factors for 24 and 36. She listed these numbers: 1,2,3,4,6,8,and 12. Which listed number is NOT a common factor for 24 and 36?

Example 2: Samantha is trying to remember her best friend’s house number. She knows it is a prime number between 10 and 50. She also remembers the sum of its digits is 11 and the difference between the digits is 3. What is the number?


Example 3:Emma wanted to bike to the nearest town. She discovered the mileage was a number between 50 and 60 with exactly 4 factors. One of the factors was 17. What was the number?
