WHAT IS THE SENIOR PROJECT DEVELOPMENT COURSE?
The course is a 1/2 semester introduction that provides valuable advice for a successful start to the Senior Project.
Advice includes typical senior project characteristics, unacceptable projects, and a list of 300+ senior projects that were done.
As well, this 1/2 Term Senior Project Development Course will ignite the Senior Project process by having students select and create their projects, while submitting FOUR signed documents that represent their commitment to Senior Project completion. These documents include The Parent Senior Project Agreement, The Client Contract, The Use of Facility Reservation Request, and The Senior Project Proposal. (All require approval signatures).
As well, students will write 10 of their 25 required senior project journals, during their class.
Upon completion of these requirements in this ½ Term class, students will begin implementing their proposal plan! The requirements are below:
A Signed Parent Senior Project Agreement (document/template is provided)
A Signed Client Contract, with Client Characteristics Requirements (document/template is provided)
Facility Reservation Request Form (document/template is provided)
A Proposal (document/template is provided)
A Proposal Grading Rubric is included.
