This 65 page packet is a packet designed for engaged group work or individual work from the book, "Promises to Keep: How Jackie Robinson Changed America". It has 102 comprehension, vocabulary, context clues, Math, theme, figurative language, compare/contrast, time line, and multiple choice questions that cover the entire book along with 1 autobiography written response packet item that includes a writing scoring rubric. It also has 60 Vocabulary/Definition matching activity cards for the students to practice and cut out for the 2 vocabulary fill-in-the-blank 1-15 assessments. I added a 25 multiple choice final test and a 1-35 multiple choice (same) final test with a 10 point personal essay writing part to conclude the unit. There is a Student Reading Reference Page for extra English knowledge to help with this packet or other assessments. There are Math & Social Studies questions sprinkled throughout the unit for cross curricular learning. There are also FIVE 20 question Check Points for scoring their work, to help the teacher and student organize and divide their packet in sections, and to give teachers grades for their grade book. Answer keys for the entire unit content are included.
