The new PSAT/NMSQT debuts October 2015, and most 10th graders will be taking it in hopes of qualifying for a coveted Merit Scholarship.
One major content change is that there will no longer be vocabulary tested in isolation. Instead, students will have to know what words mean in context.
This resource is important for that. It has PSAT-level vocabulary and focuses on roots, prefixes, and suffixes, which builds students' vocabulary knowledge of not only the original word, but any words that share those word parts. In short, even though the test is different, this resource will help them do well on the Critical Reading section.
Why should you purchase this document?
• prepares students for the new PSAT
• includes answer key for easy grading
