Oral Presentation (optional)

This activity is great for engaging students for fall and can be done ENTIRELY INDEPENDENTLY, AT HOME, if the teacher chooses. This way, no class time is lost (except for during optional oral presentations).
At the end of the project, students get their pumpkins judged by a "neutral party," (not their teacher), and pumpkins showing the best effort and time win a prize, if desired.
This document was originally designed for 4-6 graders, but is fully editable and VERY EASY TO MODIFY for 2-3 grades as well.
