Product Description
A positive attitude can take your students a long way. “Attitudes” are part of the Essential Elements of the PYP written curriculum. What kinds of attitudes should we promote to support the Learner Profile traits? If you teach at an IB school, this resource is for you!

This product includes posters and decorative bunting to help you create an attractive classroom display featuring the PYP Attitudes.
It coordinates with my Learner Attributes Posters, Set 2 and my Transdisciplinary Themes Poster Set

This set has a neutral background so it’s not confused with the colorful Learner Profile cards! Please see the preview for a better look.

I wrote my own definitions of each attitude based on the IB's definitions.

In the spirit of a community of learners, they are written in "we" language instead of "I". Here is the complete list of definitions:

Appreciation: We recognize and are grateful for the good qualities we find in people and the world around us.

Commitment: We show responsibility and
self-discipline in choosing to finish whatever tasks we start.

Confidence: We believe in our abilities, and use our knowledge to give our best effort in any situation.

Cooperation: We work and collaborate with others for everyone’s benefit.

Creativity: We use our imaginations to think in new and different ways to learn
and solve problems.

Curiosity: We are eager to learn new things about others, the world and ourselves.

Empathy: We try to imagine and share other people’s feelings in order to better understand them.

Enthusiasm: We enjoy learning new things and put forth great effort.

Independence: We think and act for ourselves, making our own reasonable decisions and judgments.

Integrity: We consistently demonstrate honest behavior and treat others fairly.

Respect: We value and care for other people, the world and ourselves.

Tolerance: We are sensitive to others’ differences and care about their needs.
