This bundle has three parts: The PowerPoint, Guided Notes, and a Propaganda Project.
The project consists of a PowerPoint to guide the students and a handout so they have both written and verbal instructions. Essentially, the students must pick a WWII themed topic to create a 'TIME' Magazine propaganda poster from. There is also a rubric in both the ppt and handout.
The PowerPoint has lots of neat visuals, video links, quotes, political cartoons, and interesting facts/vital content for students. It begins with Japan's aggressive campaign in Manchuria and East Asia in the 1930s and moves into Pearl Harbor, the Pacific Campaign, A-Bomb, and of course, Japan's demise.
It is neatly organized and flows well. Look for the asterisks next to certain terms, people, etc... those are there for students to underline/highlight as key information.
The notes are concise allowing students to focus on the lesson. They also have built in bellworks and focus questions. Please note they contain the content, but not quotes, supplemental information, etc. Basically, everything you need without dragging the kids down in detail.
