Technology. Collaboration, Proofreading, Sharing. Student Choice
This video gives step-by-step easy-to-follow directions on how to make a Padlet Wall. If you haven't used Padlet before, think of it as a digital poster. Students log onto the Padlet Wall that you create and contribute their ideas.
The Padlet Wall is projected onto the board as students engage in the writing prompt/assignment. Students are thrilled to see their ideas appear for all to see. Even the shy student in the back of the room has a voice and participates.
Every day is a great day to encourage students to reflect, ask questions, and share ideas in a digital format.
In this video example, students are asked to write about their favorite things (books, hobbies, heroes, famous people, historical events) and include images.
