•Adverb Challenge: Contains 32 Adverb Cards, 8 Special Cards, 1 Adverb Visual Poster. During each turn, a student draws a card. If the student completes the sentence on the card with a correct/logical adverb, he/she may keep the card. Whoever has the most cards at the end wins! Watch out for special cards! You may gain or lose a card depending on what the special card says.
•Describing Dominoes: 2 sets of dominos are included (to be used separately) -
-30 Yellow and green dominoes (both adj. and noun provided) – Give each player 5 cards. The rest can be placed in a draw pile. Place 1 domino card in the middle of the players. Students must match 1 side of the card on the table with cards from their hand so as to match up adjectives with nouns (or yellows with greens). The students may vote if the match is logical. If the student cannot make a pair, he/she draws a card. Continue making matches until the a player gets rid of all his/her cards. This player is the winner.
-Red and blue dominoes (only noun provided) – Distribute all cards amongst players. Place 1 card in the middle. Students must make matches by writing their own adjectives with dry erase marker on the dominoes with blue paint and pairing with a noun. The first player to get rid of his/her cards is the winner.
•Adverb Adventures: Includes 1 game board, 32 noun cards, 32 verb cards, 8 special cards. During each turn, the student draws a noun and verb card. He/she must form a sentence using an adverb and the provided words. For example, if the student draws “cat” and “sleep”, he/she could make the sentence “The cat sleeps quietly.” After making a sentence, the student may roll a dice and move the number of spaces shown on the dice. Look out for special cards! You may have to move forwards or backwards 1 space depending on what the cards says.
• Description Duel: Contains 56 Adjective Cards, 32 Noun Cards. During each turn, one player is the judge. The remaining players each place an adjective card from their hand that describes the displayed noun card. The judge decides which adjectives matches best with the noun. The player who’s adjective card is chosen keeps the noun card. All players except the judge should draw a new adjective card. Flip a new noun card and rotate who is the judge. Continue playing until one player has collected 3 noun cards. This player is the winner.
