Have your kiddos practice mixing paint by filling in this color wheel sheet! I cut my drawing paper down to 8.5" x 11" and place it into a copier and photocopy this color wheel image directly to thick 90lb. drawing paper. It is helpful to do this because the students will have an easier time painting on a paper with more of a tooth! :) I give my kids a styrofoam lunch tray with yellow, red and blue tempera paint in three separate sections. They pick up a brush, paper towel and water cup and head to their seats and experiment away! It is SO much fun to hear them as they discover how amazing it is to CREATE COLOR!
