Painted Relief Sculpture Visual Arts Lesson for 4th to 8th Grade
Students will create a nonobjective relief sculpture from a 2-dimensional painting by cutting and then turning, flipping and warping the paper. This is actually 2 different lessons. The first is a painted analogous abstract using lines and shapes, and the second lesson uses a painted complementary Optical Art design.
