This resource contains two passages on the same historical event that can be paired together as a paired passage lesson. Both stories retell the event of the first moon landing: one from the point of view of Neil Armstrong and the other from the point of view of a young boy watching the moon landing with his family.

I have included 4 questions about each passage and 4 short answer questions that require the students to use information from both passages to answer. There are also several posters and generic printables that can be used with these passages or any other paired passages.
The focus of this set is on point of view but it also covers these skills:
Making Inferences and Quoting Texts
Determining Word Meaning
