This activity allows students to compare the Paleolithic and Neolithic time periods. This is great for any world history class. I have used in a regular and AP class. It works well with all types of learners. Cut out the small strips or have students write them in the Venn diagram! It is a very interactive way to allow students to compare two of the earliest time periods of human history. I normally use this as a competition amongst groups as to see which group can complete the activity first. I added a reading at the end of the activity as a way to build background knowledge. There is also a chart the students can fill out at the end. Answer keys are included!
