Product Description
During our Dinosaur Unit we always learn about paleontologist. We learn about how they do their job, and why it is so important. We discuss how fragile the bones and fossils are that they find, and why they choose certain types of tools.
This activity is always a hit after learning about Paleontology. It teaches the students why paleontologists have to be so careful while unearthing bones, or in our case, chocolate chips!
Buy a package of chocolate chips and use toothpicks as their archeology tools. Print the sheet I have provided and get learning! I have two versions– one with showing their number with tally marks and without for an added math component!
